Summary: If u can get it at a cheap price is a very small camera that let you do the basic . Very easy to install and you can use it wielees or cionnecte it to a network. Easy steps to follow to instalt the software.
Summary: Quick and easy to set up. I did not use the web service part of the software as I set it up on my LAN as a security camera. Web service allows remote viewing and email notification. Video quality is very good. Not very good in low light and night time use. Indoor and daytime it's great.
Summary: For the price I paid, this camera got the job done. Setting up with CD didn't work, as it didn't detect camera. After inserting a pin to reset the settings in the camera and going directly to the default url, setup was quick. like it.
Excerpt: The beauty about this webcam is that you can monitor a live video away from the vicinity of your home/office. But, you need an Internet Explorer though to open the application though. In order for you to view the “secured place” from another location, you need to link up to a router, and secure it with a password. Only those who have the password could have access to the camera. The setting up isn’t hard to do.
Pros: No wires or cables to run. Will fit in just about any application whether it be wall mounted or placed on a table top. Comes with the stand and bracket. The size of the camera is not overwhelming. Works great with my older Linksys wireless-b router from remote locations via the web. Ability to configure the camera and settings over the web from remote location. One nice feature is that you can turn the blue power LED off and still have the camera on so no one else wil...
Cons: The video quality is fair. The smaller the image the clearer, larger image gets pixelated. Video is very dark at night even with a few lamps turned on, but you can brighten your recorded images with Windows media player or turn the brightness up on your monitor. Works great with natural daylight.
