Summary: If u can get it at a cheap price is a very small camera that let you do the basic . Very easy to install and you can use it wielees or cionnecte it to a network. Easy steps to follow to instalt the software.
Summary: Works great i had a little trouble with wireless put in correct password and it works great if other people dont like it they dont know what they are doing lyksys will help connect if ya have problems
Summary: Quick and easy to set up. I did not use the web service part of the software as I set it up on my LAN as a security camera. Web service allows remote viewing and email notification. Video quality is very good. Not very good in low light and night time use. Indoor and daytime it's great.
Summary: For the price I paid, this camera got the job done. Setting up with CD didn't work, as it didn't detect camera. After inserting a pin to reset the settings in the camera and going directly to the default url, setup was quick. like it.
Summary: I own two of these and they are easy to set up if you have some network knowledge and they work great; both video and audio. These deliver re much higher quality image than the Linksys Compact Internet Camera.
Summary: this is very easy, just write the camera's IP address, add /img/video.asf and thats all !! works great with VLC for Mac OS !!... example: if your camera is on 192.168.1.101, then use whatever video program like quicktime, VLC, windows media...etc and open the following address: 192.168.1.101:1024/img/video.asf note: the 1024 is the open port for the camera.
Summary: If you don't know too much about computer network, it could be difficult. Been using little more than 3 month so far, no problem. Used D-Link, Hawking, Axis, and Panasonic, but based on my experience, linksys had more funtions that was availabe than any other camera, plus, image quality is good if set it as best quailty picture, with best pixel. (Default is not set as best). I was able to remotely access my camera from Korea, Camera was in U.S.
Summary: For the price, this camera works pretty darn well. My router/office is at the end of the house furthest from the front on the first floor, and I wanted a camera on the second floor up front to view my front lawn for when people come and I don't hear the bell and for the damn annoying neighbors that mess with my things (watching to see who is going to mess with my garbage cans as I write this)... and it is working GREAT!
