Excerpt: The WVC200 networking wireless camera is the most affordable device if you want to add a security camera in your shop or at home. Last year, I helped my customer install this camera. I tell you, this is so easy to install if you have an existing network at home.
Great camera at excellent price for use with Internet Explorer equipped PCs

Summary: This Linksys camera is a well engineered innovative product. It is an excellent value for this price point. Expect to spend 2-5x more for a comparable or better camera. The wvc200 (or wvc210 new model) work very well for what they were designed. However there are some shortcomings. The main problem is that they use Active X, probably the worst interface possible known for it's inherent security problems.
Summary: I have had this unit in service for over 2 years as a remote monitoring camera at my vacation home. The unit works very well and delivers better than average video quality for a web cam. I have not had any operational issues with the unit. I am using the wireless to connect to my router. Cons are that only WEP seems to work and the range of pan/tilt is limited. I wish it was compatible with browsers other that IE as I use Firefox for the rest of my cameras without issue.
Summary: Linksys/Cisco no longer sells the WVC200 and has upgraded to the WVC210. Although the color has been greatly improved on the newer model - gone is the IR sensitivity of the older model. This is unfortunate as I used these to monitor my children overnight. Software and setup is not the most straightforward and could be improved but once you get the hang of it the ease of use improves. Overall good camera for the price point.
Summary: Cam came exactly when they said. I like the range of motion. I'm not sure how good the wireless range is: I've seen people have issues with the range but, I have the antenna horizontal (hidden from view) and it's 30'+ from the router (G) through 2 walls and it works just fine. The zoom is actually only a 2x and I'm pretty sure it's digital so not really a zoom. That's ok, with a 640x480 picture it's not bad at all.
Summary: Good solid build, the pan/tilt motor is really loud. I had to return it due to it's incompatibility with my Macs as it will only work with Internet Explorer. PC setup had problems too,I was only able to log in once or twice to the IP that was assigned. there was a problem with the active X plugin that was failing to install, tried on 4 PCs.
Summary: This is an older model of the product. Many improvements have been made to the newest model WVC210. If money is an issue go with the WVC200 the improvements are not that significant. Both models have an email notification which is NON functional. When Cicso support was contacted, their help was non existant on the problem. Their solution was, "it is your ISP problem," with NO troubleshooting effort on their part whatsoever.
Summary: First of All let me say the Lynksys is Great! (Company and products) Now for the review: The WVC200 camera with audio has all the bells and whistles that a security camera would want to have. I never did get the (wireless) part configured and partly due to what was or wasn't in the packaged box.
Summary: I bought a couple of these cameras to set up a home system and setup is a pain. Although overall nice cameras very buggy. I use a Linksys WRT600N router with TKIP and was able to set up one camera wireless with no problem. The other 2 to no avail. In the end the problem boiled down to shorten the security key to 8 spaces which was no problem with the first camera... Strange. If you like to tinker this is for you.
