Excerpt: Camera was a pita to get set up and I'm a programmer. That said, once it was set up it worked flawlessly on wireless for several days while I was away. Only other issue is the IR LED's won't work out a window because they reflect off the glass, but from google searches it sounds like all these types of cameras have that issue.
Excerpt: I have several Foscam security cameras. Recently they have changed the way these work on newer models and can no longer be accessed by any browser on any operating system. So I was pleased that BHPhoto carries a version that works just fine with a Firefox browser on a Linux computer. The device was easy to set up. I plan to buy another one.
Pros: Easy to set up, works with Firefox, Works with Linux
Excerpt: I use this Wireless cam for remote surveillance. Picture is crystal clear and I can remotely view a wide range of angles. I can look at my house at any time and from anywhere I travel to. I haven't found anything that I am unhappy about it yet.
Excerpt: Cameras used in a business. Nice construction and fairly easy to set up. Higher resolution is preferred but for the money, this cameras 640x480 resolution is worth every penny. The day vision/color is very good and the night vision is superb! I thought the stand it came with was very functional but also VERY cheap. One wrong move with torquing down a mounting screw or tightening the adjustment knob too much and you can kiss it goodbye.
Excerpt: When I ordered this camera I read other reviews that said it was a little challenging to set up and that the image quality was not great. I am pretty computer savvy so it was pretty easy for me but I can see where people say it is challenging. You can also find a lot of instructional videos on youTube. For it's price it is a pretty neat tool. I have mine watching my safe and it sends me emails every time it senses movement.
