Summary: I bought this camera at the same time that I bought the D-Link DCS-932L mydlink-Enabled Wireless-N Day/Night Network Camera. In the description it of the product it sounded like it would have better features over the DCS-932L which it does but it is much more complex to get it setup. It works well and it is just the setup. I bought it with the others so that I could use the D-Link Android or I-Phone D-Link app to connect to the cameras from anywhere.
Summary: Per the d-link website this product was discontinued on 6/1/2012. If I had know I would not have purchased. However that being said it is still a functional camera that generally does what it claims. Contrary to other reviews, this camera does have a outdoor lighting mode that you can set and has a night mode which for me gives some very grainy/blurry photos, but better than expected. Like other folks I could not use the install software on my mac, I had to use a PC.
Summary: Easy to set up. I bought this to keep an eye on my dogs while I am at work. Works fantastic! I had an earlier smaller model that I was using for many years and decided to upgrade. This one has more features than the one I had. I can see my dogs now when it's getting dark in the room due to the sun setting, whereas I couldn't with my previous model. Very glad I upgraded!
Decent camera for the price, but design flaw in camera positioning.

Summary: I bought this camera in December 2011 to stream video of church services, and for that task it has performed fairly well. The video is a bit choppy and the quality Ok. The tiny microphone works surprisingly well, and even picks up sounds at a distance that are not being amplified over the sound system. The camera has recently been dropping the WiFi connection, but I attribute that more to the distance the camera is from the router.
Summary: We have two of the model 930L cameras and they work fine from a PC laptop but do not work from an iPhone. One of the two will work, meaning it can be viewed. The second reports a network error. The network is fine as it works flawlessly from the laptop. I have tried rebooting the router, uninstalling & reinstalling the Mydlink Lite app and get the same results. I tried for weeks to obtain technical assistance from Mydlink and they had nothing to offer.
Summary: 1. I've got 5 dlink 1130's at our cottage. All but one is pointed outdoors. the gentleman who said they don't work outdoors needs to look at the image configuration settings -- there is a specific setting where you tell the cameras whether the light source is INDOORS or OUTDOORS. Once you configure it to OUTDOORS they work fine. 2. While these cameras have 10x digital zoom, you can no longer use that in the mydlink web application.
Not a bad camera - easy to use and works rather solid.

Summary: I bought this camera for business remote monitoring. After a little work getting it setup it seems to work well. My access is a little slow but it is possible to log into Dlink and view the video from the same connection it is uploading from. Overall not too tough to setup and it works which is more then most products out there.
