Summary: Picture could be clearer around the edges. Wish it had image flattening, but beggars can't be choosers. Use it for monitoring every inch of a 16x12 processing room in a Washington I502 business. Works well enough. Love that it can record directly to NAS, saves my NVR from having to do extra work.
Pretty good camera, wireless is hopelessly unreliable.

Summary: UPDATE: Through recent firmware updates (I assume) these cameras have become completely unstable - requiring manual reboots every other day. All but one of the cameras is hardwired (CAT5) and didn't have issues, but they have become so unstable that I cannot possibly recommend them.
Summary: Decent image quality. User interface could use an upgrade. Recording to sd card and actually viewing recordings is non-intuitive or quirky. Using this cam for h.264 live streaming did not work. I would look at other manufacturers before buying dlink.
Don't bother, buy something else if your using wifi, disconnects frequently

Summary: The camera quality is great however it CONSTANTLY disconnects from the network. I have mine located a mere 20 feet from my router and it still can't stay connected. You must reset it everyday or even multiple times per day. What kind of security is that?
Summary: I am in charge of installing cameras in multiple buildings on my WAN. I used "better" cameras in the first building due to the need for high-quality video if anything were ever to happen there.
Pros: Easily blends in by looking like a smoke detector --- can take the place of 4 cameras --- easy to setup --- better low-light image than a similar, but more expensive camera I've used
Cons: No Power Over Ethernet --- Only records the video the way that it is configured as opposed to being able to Pan/Tilt/Zoom once it's been recorded --- no software in the box and the downloadable software is useless in a server/monitor situation --- IR lights for night vision?
Summary: I bought 2 of those cams for a client you wanted wireless security cameras. To be honest, they work better than I thought; normally I stay away from Dlink products because I had a couple of bad experience with them, but those cams seems to be the exception.
Summary: Remarkably easy setup and operation. Good picture quality with highly versatile range of acceptable viewing conditions. Works with minimal lighting. Software is relatively user friendly. Looking to buy more! As In most IP cameras-digital zoom sucks but other qualities make this a go to product!!
