Excerpt: I purchased this camera to keep an eye on my business when I couldn't be there. Setting up the camera was fairly easy. It connected right away with the CAT5 cable, but when I put it to wireless, it took a couple of attempts to connect. Still only took me about 25 minutes, so not bad. The first evening gone, I couldn't connect to the camera.
Excerpt: The product is great to use if you're looking for a camera that provides a general view of what's going on in a certain area. The video quality is decent with good light and fairly noisy in low light. It's to be expected. You're not going to get a truly high definition picture out of this camera though. The wide angle is perfect for a general overview of the space. There is good coverage when panning, tilting, and zooming but the tracking is slow and choppy.
Summary: Nice little camera, but you have the same issues with all the D-Links, the software stinks and you HAVE TO put a username and password on EVERY camera. Quite the burden, especially when you move one. You have to keep a spread sheet of the camera Name and Password and Location to keep them straightl.
