Summary: I like the camera and what you are supposed to be able to do with it. Because the technical support and setup/configuration documentation is lacking, it is difficult to operate the the camera remotely via the web interface.
It's an okay pan & tilt day/night camera if you're using the mydlink system

Summary: This D-Link DCS-5222L wireless HD pan & tilt camera does what it is supposed to do, but the web interface and apps are clunky and unintuitive. I have this connected to the D-Link DNR-202L recorder, but have accessed it's web interface directly as well. Neither is intuitive.
OK at first, but having some issue after a few months

Summary: The firmware has improved on this camera, but it it still difficult to set up. More importantly, the motion detection has stopped emailing (or FTPing, or anything other than logging the fact that motion was detected. This was working well in place and I performed a firmware update.
Summary: I purchased this camera to keep an eye on my business when I couldn't be there. Setting up the camera was fairly easy. It connected right away with the CAT5 cable, but when I put it to wireless, it took a couple of attempts to connect. Still only took me about 25 minutes, so not bad.
Summary: 2 things that bothered me about this. My MacBook Air would not recognize this thing no matter what I did. And their website can't be viewed from a Mac because the software on their website runs through Java... If you're a Mac user I WOULD NOT buy this.
Summary: Nice little camera, but you have the same issues with all the D-Links, the software stinks and you HAVE TO put a username and password on EVERY camera. Quite the burden, especially when you move one. You have to keep a spread sheet of the camera Name and Password and Location to keep them straightl.
The newer B1 Revision is out there. DO NOT BUY THIS OLDER version. Or should you?

Summary: If you go to bestbuy, you will find the B1 revision which is supposed to be better (at least it has speaker built-in) but if you read the reviews there, you will find out it might not be the case. If you have to buy one, you might want to stick with the original.
