Summary: Been using this for a year now. It has been reliable and can't think of anything to complain about. I like having media available to stream to devices without having to leave my computer on. I occasionally use the torrent client without issue as well.
Summary: It's a great device minus some shortcomings - which is part of that cheap thing. I do think some of the issues come from translational errors between the designer and the build and the manual. anywho. what they don't come out at say but should. YOU CANNOT USE FIREFOX TO CONNECT TO THIS NAS.
Pros: relatively quiet, low power, compact, cheap - for specs. honestly nothing comes close from open box to power on was a snap drives go in very easily.
Cons: setup, instruction manual, setup, bright blue light, poor diag leds did I mention the setup?
Summary: This is a very nice NAS. It is the very first NAS I have ever owned, and I have learned a lot after purchasing this. I have nothing bad to say about this NAS, and the only things I don't like about it are my own fault for not looking into it better.
Summary: This is a great NAS. I use it with XBMC via gigabit and wireless, and it hasn't failed me. I haven't tried it with multiple instances of XBMC, but I would probably recommend only one instance at a time, unless RAID 1 is in use.
Summary: pros: Easy to install; easy to configure; very silent. With 2 identical HDs it configures RAID 1 automatically. I observed manufacturer's compatibility list and put 2 3 TB 's HD. Good performance. As a storage, it works very fine. cons: Careful with front cover.
Good Product for the money. Highly recommend but be careful of config

Summary: This product has a lot of value for the little price that you pay for it. I stream a lot of movies that I get from various places and also store files and music on this device. Have a total for 4TB installed on this device as JBOD and after initialization (can take quite some time so don't be in a...
Summary: System handles LAN backups wonderfully. Only gave it 4 starts since it can be a little glitchy and the web interface is sub-par, but it performs most functions brilliantly and served the purpose that I got it for perfect.
Summary: If you get a continuous beeping when you install a HDD then follow these steps: 1. Remove all HDD and boot the NAS 2. You will now be able to find it on your network. 3. Set it up & upgrade the Firmware 4.
Pros: - Small - Affordable - Decent Specs (compared to all the low speed CPU/RAM NAS) - Brand
Cons: - Instructions are extremely limited. - Difficult to install HDD's due to lack of instruction.
Pros: Very reliable with lots of features. I use several of these at businesses I provide off-site backup and IT support services to so I don't use many options except the SMART add on to check drive health and emailing logs. It isn't the fastest out there, but it is fast enough for my use. It runs ver...
Cons: Needs to be restarted to recognize USB 3.0 drives. Would love to see this fixed on a firmware update.
