Summary: I was looking to save some money when I got this but I promptly returned it and paid the extra to get a Synology DS212. Online reviews praised the NSA325 as a viable competitor to the entry-level Synology units but I don't really agree. Specs- and features-wise it seems on par, but in execution it falls very short in my opinion. For starters, the build quality is very plastic-y and the front panel was not very secure.
Summary: First off, this unit isn't too bad, but I spent about 2 hrs trying to get it working like is should have out of box, and a couple more figuring out DropBox on it. It took a bit to determine that the firmware it came with didn't work properly. Through their support forums, (in German... thanks Google Translate) I found a way to flash it via USB (and I was not the first this had happened to).
