DEFINITELY NOT FOR BUSINESS USE!

Summary: Pretty much all of the business NAS features don't work, or are totally inadequate. It is next to impossible to back up the NAS if you have 50GB or more of data. In my opinion, Seagate should have never released this product to the public.
Pros: Not many. The device hardware seems to be running ok. RAID has not failed yet.
Cons: -Firmware/software is horrible. -Active Directory support is a joke and difficult to get working. -Slow file transfer speed (Even with dual gigabit ports) -Backups to external USB devices are horribly slow. -No incremental/differential backups. Cons: Does not work w/ Active Directory, even though it says that it does. Spent hours w/ tech support and they are aware of the limitations and "working on it". Could not backup workstation directly either, maybe related to the AD, but I don't think so, just another problem w/ another fix provided by ...
