Summary: I was in the market for a hard drive and so I bought this one. It does the job and holds the stuff I put onto it. Seagate has earned my trust with this one as it has not crashed or had any issues.
Summary: The product was that I expected and it has been working well so far. Sometimes, it shows some delays in NFS service but I'm not sure if it is the problem of NAS or there is other network issue on my network.
Reliable (for the past 7 months), compact, but lacks USB 3.0

Summary: An external HD for backing up your data is a MUST for any computer user. I got the 640 GB model of this drive in May of 2011, and so far, the drive has been reliable. My laptop died 2 months ago and I don't know what I'd have done w/o all my data, if I hadn't gotten this drive or if I hadn't done a...
Summary: The BlackArmor NAS is fast, with gigabit ethernet and a 7200rpm drive with 32MB of cache. The price is just about what you'd pay for a normal usb only external drive. For that you get some decent standalone fileserver functions and a nice easy to use web interface for configuration.
Summary: Not a whole lot to say here, it's a good, reasonably-priced external drive. Read-write speed's great, it's small enough to fit in a large pocket, the fact that it's USB powered makes it all the better, and it even has a lanyard loop.
Summary: I found this after cancelling an order for a Western Digital drive (500GB), since the price was the same ($60 at the time of purchase), however the Seagate was a 640GB. Transfer speed is OK, I just care for storage and not for speed; besides this is an external device and they will always behave...
Summary: Item was priced well and received prommptly and as advertised. Would like to hae known prior to purchase that this device cannot be accessed over the internet from a remote location. That feature is only available in the larger sized device by the same manufacurer.
Summary: This is a good network and backup drive. Software with is works well both for discovery and backup. i have not needed to perform a restore so i can't speak to that but it is based on Acronis tools and they are pretty solid. I'm happy with the purchase.
Summary: Got item and started using within 1 week. So far love it. Quick and easy transfer. Have not filled to capacity yet to see if it can take it, but I'm sure it will be able to handle without any problem.
