Summary: I own this product for about 3 years, it worked pretty well except a few things - The timemachine backup needs some improvement. There is no quota per machine for backup, also it seems it would take complete backup again after some larger changes on the Mac.

Summary: Have the TS-659 Pro for around 2 weeks now. This is a great NAS. I put 5 Samsung 2TB drives in RAID 6, and things are running smoothly. This is my first NAS, so I have nothing to compare to. But it was very easy to setup and the Qnap forum helps a lot too.

Summary: I have tested almost every feature on the RAID. Some just for fun. My day job is working with networks and servers. This device is really flexible for the home or small office. In my testing put a bunch of data on a four disk RAID.
