Easy to setup and use

jgp, B&H Photo
22 July 2014
  • Excerpt: Not my first Qnap (2 locations) and this one is just great. I wanted to tweak a bit the configuration for my personal needs and it just did it marvelously as long as you are not afraid to get your hands a little dirty and restart the process a couple of time. Fast, much fast than my other one. Hooked it up on 2x 1GB switch and this baby rocks in transfer.
  • Pros: Easy To Manage, Fast, Tweakable

It far exceeds my expectations.

Bart E. Henderson, Amazon
18 December 2013
  • Summary: Three words - I Love It!. I populated this NAS with 4 WD Red 3TB drives for my 4 home PC network. It does everything and more what is advertised. It is easy to manage and to configure. With this unit on a UPS and "acres and acres" of storage, I expect this will last me a long time with confidence of my data being safe. This NAS being fully populated with 4 drives, it runs very cool and quiet.

  • Pros: This is a great little system for a buy and forget it deal. Great homegrown OS Cool web access feature from your own URL

  • Summary: I ended up being able to use this unit for its intended purpose once I upgraded to a multiseat quickbooks. but that is not the fault of this unit, that is a quickbooks issue. that being said, we use this everyday. it is a great unit. I am actually considering getting one for at home.

Buy it, use it and enjoy.

brokamonster, Amazon

  • Summary: Amazing product! I've had this NAS running for nearly two years now with zero issues. I use it for my Wife's small business and it supports her and a full-time employee. They use it for backup, file storage and sharing every day. The NAS runs quiet and is easy to configure. The latest firmware (4.0.2) looks really nice as well. QNAP is catering to the late majority and offering a clean and easy to use interface.
