  • Conclusion: Although the rating and final score mentioned in this conclusion are made to be as objective as possible, please be advised that every author perceives these factors differently at various points in time. While we each do our best to ensure that all aspects of the product are considered, there are often times unforeseen market conditions and manufacturer changes which occur after publication that could render our rating obsolete.
  • Pros: 97 / 89 MBps best read/write performance, System software is SOTA and continually updated, Support Apps available for multiple cloud services, Support App available for Mobile access, VMware Ready iSCSI for virtualization deployments, Online RAID Capacity Expansion and Level Migration, Hot-swap RAID storage, Dual Gigabit Ethernet with teaming and failover, RAID 0/1/5/6/10/JBOD disk configurations, Two eSATA ports for additional storage expansion, Low power consumption...
  • Cons: Write speeds in RAID 5 still limited by the installed computing power, USB 3.0 ports not included, only USB 2.0, A few advanced capabilities will be too daunting for a novice SOHO user, Many consumer HDDs not suitable for RAID, and enterprise units are $$$

QNAP TS-419P+ Turbo NAS 4-Bay Network Storage Review

Legit Reviews
10 January 2011
  • Excerpt: About six months ago, I started looking into building a Home Theater PC Solution that fit my needs.  Seeing I already owned an Xbox 360, and not wanting to build a separate PC, I decided my best route was to look at some type of device that could stream to an Xbox 360 using UPnP.  I ran into many roadblocks, some devices did not support a large storage pool, and others were just too expensive.

QNAP TS-419P+ TurboNAS Review

26 September 2011

TEST: Synology DS412+ og Qnap TS-419P II - To gode med plass til fire

PC World
28 June 2011
