QNAP HS-210 Network Attached Storage

APH Networks
22 August 2014
  • Conclusion: If this website was Facebook, and this page was the profile for some teenage guy or girl, then this paragraph will be one of those "to be honest" comments to share on someone's timeline. So, here we go. To be honest, when I first saw the QNAP HS-210, I thought it would have been the perfect media streaming box to replace the "average" QNAP NMP-1000 I have reviewed back in March 2010.

QNAP HS-210 Silent NAS

16 August 2014
  • Summary: The QNAP HS-210 is a great little unit all round with good performance, the capability is extended by the applications available to perform specific tasks. No doubt the CPU was chosen to minimise heat footprint, but it still manages to be a decent performer though system operations will temporarily max out the CPU.

QNAP HS-210 Silent NAS Review

21 January 2014
  • Conclusion: Currently selling for $290 , at that price point the HS-210 is not overpriced for a two-bay NAS but there are better value options such as the similarly-equipped TS-220 for $230 or the Thecus N2520 , which is 40% cheaper at ~$180 and possibly the best-value sub-$300 two-bay NAS available. What QNAP offers, however, is a unique fanless set-top design as well as a more refined user interface and software setup than you'll experience with Thecus.

  • Conclusion: As the data needs of the modern-day consumer evolve, there's a greater call for centralised storage solutions that serve multiple devices and guarantee peace of mind through regular backups. For these reasons, we would suggest that network-attached storage servers will prove to be popular throughout 2014 and beyond.

Qnap HS-210

20 September 2014

Expert Review

9 July 2014
  • Pros: Consommation, Silence, Format, OS
  • Cons: Performances, Pas de sortie HDMI, Performances

Wohnzimmertauglich: QNAP HS-210 im Test

10 June 2014
