Easy to increase capacity, great remote access features

Marshall David Hickman Jr, Amazon
  • Summary: For me the two best features of this unit are NETGEAR's X-RAID2 technology and the remote access features. X-RAID2 allows you to increase storage capacity by adding disks to an existing array or replacing lower-capacity disks with higher-capacity disks without rebuilding the array.

Amazon User, Amazon
13 January 2015
  • Summary: I received the ReadyNAS 314 for free as part of NETGEAR’s Friends and Family Program. I’ve never dealt with these type of products before so trying it out for the first time can be a little intimidating. As a first time user, the software was very easy to setup and navigate.

  • Summary: A little over a month ago I received this unit as a promotion with the Netgear friends and family program. I have to say I was a little nervous when receiving the product, as I have never used anything along these lines before. The unit itself cam with 2 1tb hard drives.

Great Unit, you will need some time to really learn all the features.

Carlos G. Rios "CarlosR", Amazon

  • Summary: First off I have to inform that i did receive the RN31400-100NAS free to test and review. This will be an on going review, I just wanted to post my experience so far. I came from a ReadyNas Ultra 4, which did its job for plex, but compared to this unit was a bit outdated.
