Summary: Poor camera interface. Does not work with Vivotek 360 degrees cameras. Weak Debian OS. Assumes RAID1 out of the box. It has a lot of potential just not there yet. Better off with a 1U HP server. Cheaper and much more for your money.
Summary: I purchased this NAS reluctantly because we already own 4 Readynas 2100s. They have not been error free, but I was hoping most quarks were resolved with this newer unit. Interface looks better but functionality takes a step back over the previous firmware and AD integration was more troublesome.
Pros: At this point none
Cons: 1st unit was about 4 hours short of being DOA. (HDD failure). Called Netgear and their response was ship the entire unit back. Newegg was gracious enough to do this and not charge us any shipping. The replacement unit has been running for about 1 week now and a hard drive has failed in this unit....

Summary: This NAS is fast and reliable. The diskless version includes trays and mounting hardware for drives. We have a ReadyNAS 2100 and this ReadyNAS 2120 in our server room. These units are used to back up our entire network on a daily basis - they get worked hard but are incredibly fast and reliable.
Summary: Up-front: I received this product free of charge as part of NETGEAR's Business Friends and Family review program. I will start by saying I am giving this three stars based on the fact that this is advertised as a business class device. If this were part of the home lineup it would receive 4-5 stars.
Great overall, consider the 3100 series if you have more users on your network

Summary: I received this as part of a review and test program from Netgear. Overall, I was impressed with this device. While it is targeted at the business user, it would work well in a small business without a sophisticated IT footprint. It does most things well with easy user setup.
Summary: First off I got this product for free as part of the Netgear friends and family program. So far I've been impressed by the NAS and it's capabilities. Let's go into details. Setup: The setup was incredibly simple, plug in the hard drives you want and turn it on and it configures the RAID for you.
Summary: I've been using this product for a few weeks as part of NETGEAR's Friends & Family program. I received the device free, and was asked to write an unbiased review, which follows. My primary use case for this device is for backups - in my case using Time Machine for my Macbook Pro, along with handling...
it is nice to know they are there if I need them ...

Summary: Right up front I will let you know that I am no storage administrator, and to be honest once i set up a NAS I want to set it and forget it. When I set up the NAS the installation process was about as simple as it gets though the software, and there are a lot of different features and capabilities...
Summary: The NETGEAR ReadyNAS RN2120 is targeted at businesses, but fits right at home in a media closet; especially if you have or want rack mounted disk space. It has (2) GB LAN ports for redundant connections and 3 USB ports for expansion. I was surprised at the feature list at this price point.
