Software Raid - Not Perfect - Not bad either

Summary: This is a good SAN device. I don't use it for the frivolous features like print serving and facebook uploading. I needed a SOHO disk array I could use iSCSI to connect to and run multiple VMWare clients from.
Pros: Good hardware fit and finish. External Power supply easily replaced in the future. Nice LCD, informative. Super quiet fans - They run as slow as they can and it is quiet.
Cons: 1) LACP is problematic. Most reboots require pulling link on the ethernet cable to bring the LACP bundle up and make the device reachable. 2) Array rebuild process has hung on multiple tests. Had to reboot to continue the rebuild. 3) Software RAID writes 3rd party partitions to your drives. There...
