One more device launched in the market with lack of SW developments.

Summary: It will work If you are a hacker with many time to spend adjusting and fine tunning this piece of crap device. - Untable; - Unreliable; - Few suport from manufacturer; - Not eco friendlly (it warms a lot and keep your hard drives at full load reducing their life time); - Poor network performance in wireless mode. In order to keep this device working properly I have disable many funcionalities such as the wifi and the media services.
Summary: I have no issues with the functionality of the device - it's easy to set up and easy to use - other than its lack of compatibility with MacOS X 10.7, but the performance is _dismal_. There's no other way to describe it. I top out at a couple of megabytes per second from an attached USB drive, which really isn't very good at all. So, it's not a bad device, but also not overly useful if performance is a concern.
Summary: Bought this item to be exclusively a NAS drive for my home network - I was sick of having files on multiple machines and thought this would be a good solution. How wrong I was. A very flaky interface and awful, AWFUL transfer speeds render it useless when it comes to sharing files. Also doesnt interact well with Windows 7 libraries. Avoid.
Summary: When it works, it works good..., but it often cant find the external device and and requires a reset and pc reboot to get it working again. Have wasted many hours trying to get the thing working. Money would have been better spent on buying a second external drive for the second pc.
Summary: This product is a great idea but in practice is complex to set up and ultimately disappointing. One specific problem to bear in mind is that if you use Kaspersky Internet Security it treats network communication with this device as a network attack and blocks it. If you find Iomega Storage Manager can find the device but indicates that it is "unavailable", this is likely your problem.
Very Disappointed - Drive Sharing OK - Printing Rubbish

Summary: The other reviews here are spot on. (Unfortunately I got this too soon to see them). The sharing drives isnt too bad although I have a 1TB Philips drive that fails to work with the iConnect. Plug it in to the pc and all is well. Plug it in to the iConnect and wont recognise and drive spins down and goes to sleep. The printing is a disaster quite frankly. I have a Epson RX620 multifunction and this doesn't work, well not at the same time as the drives.
Summary: Après à peine 1 an d'utilisation, le produit n'est même pas mis à jour pour permettre les sauvegarde time machine avec Lion. C'est pourtant la raison pour laquelle je l'avais acheté. Tous les autres constructeurs de NAS ou solutions comparables ont fourni des mises à jour. Iomega ne fournit pas d'update et annonce même sur son site qu'il n'y en aura pas.
