I could never get this to work

Summary: I could never get this to work. The issue seems to be with the various firewall/port/port-forwarding/IP settings on the router, which is not directly the Home Media unit itself, but in order for this unit to work, the customer needs to get that stuff working, so much better instructions are needed. I spent hours and hours, and days and days, going through knowledge-base instructions and researching the details of my WiFi DSL Router, but it was all in vain.
Summary: After much frustration, I finally had to return the product. It wasn't compatible with my version of Win 7 and requires the Pro version to configure as a Network drive. This tidbit was not mentioned in the advertised specs. Plus, I'm still getting e-mail msgs from somewhere telling me the drive is not operating properly. I guess not since I sent it back more than a month ago. Apparently, the "cloud" is still trying to communicate with it. Go figure!
Summary: i bought this to replace another drive that i was having problems with. i sent it back 2 weeks later after reading more about it and seeing that people had failure problems with it, and that is something i was not looking forward to. although i never had any issues with it (although when i received mine there was a rattle to it, like a screw had broken lose on the inside which probably lead to me being paranoid about it failing), the threat of losing data was enough to...

Summary: I bought this in effort to be able to access files anywhere as described. Iomega don't give very good instruction on the setup. As a ATT U-Verse customer, the DSL router is not UPnP device which makes it more difficult to setup. I ended signing with TZO for domain which helped tremendously. The instruction manual that came in the CD or website does not make any logical sense. There's no chronological or any logical steps to setup this drive probably.
