  • Conclusion: The improvement that HP has made are substantial and worthwhile. Fortunately for those that have older MediaSmart Servers, HP has made the new software available to all. Unfortunately, on the older hardware the new functionality probably won’t be as smooth.

  • Excerpt: (1 items) HP MediaSmart EX495HP’s MediaSmart EX495 proved to be the one of the fastest network-attached storage boxes we’ve ever tested. • Pros: Fast, Great features
  • Cons: Safari issues, Need a Windows PC for setup and configuration
