Summary: The connection is not stable. Sometimes I have to restart the server in order to reconnect. I have never succeeded to connect to the server by Mobile with Android and iPhone4s. The support is not good. No one gives me response for my question.
The company may not exist any more. No method of contact works.

Summary: Avoid this product like the worthless door stop it is. I had a problem getting it the set up. The documentation it came with and online is minimal and the steps they say to use do not work. I sent in a support question weeks ago, they have never answered. I went to their Facebook page and added another comment to the long list of people waiting for months to hear from the company.
Summary: I bought this because it had higher ratings than other NAS home units on Amazon, it's supposed to be easier to use than others. Am not a tech professional but have set up my own networks, reconfigured PCs, etc. So far this experience is very poor. PROS 1.The unit looks nice...white with lots of flashing blue LEDS. 2.The unique "key" system does allow set up w/o making changes to your network set up or firewall. 3.
Summary: With the new baby and the tons of media that I now really do not want to lose, went in search for an affordable media storage solution and this certainly fits the bill. Went with the 4TB as you really cannot have too much. The wireless functionality is excellent!!! Love that I can get from any computer in the house. Only reason it is 4 and not 5 stars is i havent had it long to judge reliability.
Summary: First time I'm compeled to write a product review, and it's not for a good reason. I'm a software user experience designer and sysadmin level on Mac, Windows and several flavors of Linux. So when I tell you the user experience sucks, it's not coming from a noob. Marketing polish aside, this has to be one of the worst product experiences I've had in some time.
Summary: Bought this a week back to set up a central data repository for my home... and there are Macbook, iPad, android, windows 7 and XP. Lot of photos, movies, mp3s and other files. Set up: Easy. I use in Raid-1 mode. The other options are Raid-0 and JBOD Just a Bunch Of Drives ). Hooked the network cable, it found the IP, and ready to go. Created two accounts. Sharing is easy across user accounts. Initial data load : Annoying ! when myDitto client software works, it is fine.
Summary: I work wirelessly on both a mac and a pc. You can imagine how complicated things can get then when you need to transfer large files from one system to the other, just to find our your hard drive is only compatible with one system. MyDitto has solved my transfer problems. With MyDitto, projects can be stored on the 1TB harddrive, and then instantly pulled up with a unique USB 'key' on whatever device I am working on at the time. Set up was simple and quick.
Summary: I run a small consulting business and this product has saved me more time than any other device that I have bought in the last 5 years. It's easy to setup and quick. I have even given all of my siblings and in-laws keys so that I can easily share photos and files with them. My only gripe was the mobile authentication which was recently made much more simple. The ability to have Private folders per user and then a shared folder for all is an excellent feature.
Summary: So, what is this product exactly? It's a file server that allows you to provide a central repository of your files. You can them access them from your local wireless devices via your wireless router, and/or from any laptop or workstation over the Internet if you are in a remote location. Remote users simply insert their my-Ditto Key into a laptop or PC and they gain access.
Summary: This thing really works and is incredibly easy to set-up. You connect the MyDitto server to your router and plug the myDitto master-USB drive (supplied) into your computer, and wa-la -- you have a home network. I bought a 500GB myDitto server and installed an extra 500GB drive in the second slot (easy to install), and then configured it as a RAID-1 mirrored drive set-up. All very easy to do with the myDitto software. Works like a champ.
