  • Summary: I have spent a lot of time fighting with this thing. For the price I would have been ahead in time and money had I purchased a new server and configured it. Connecting to Active Directory should not require jumping through this many hoops.
  • Pros: Lots of space for storage
  • Cons: Does not play nice with Active Directory

  • Summary: We are needing another NAS and will be looking elsewhere for the next one.
  • Pros: Price. Online console is pretty good, just slow.
  • Cons: Horrible iSCSI support and RAID firmware. Simply logically shutting down the device and restarting it can cause the RAID to be degraded. Highly recommend setting up as a RAID 10 with this device just to save your data as this happens a lot (but you lose a lot of disk too)! We have rebuilt the dev...

  • Excerpt: Kauf der Tera Station III nur 2 TB vor 2,5 Jahren, nach 2,25 Jahren ging ein Schacht nicht mehr, auch nach dem Austausch der Platte, nichts zu machen, Garantie vorbei ( Ausfall eingebaut ? )das Gerät war Schrott.
