Do Not Buy!

  • Summary: I had about 1.5 TB of data on the thing. Fortunately its a back-up and my original data is still in tact. Unfortunately it now means I am scrambling to get flash drives and other back-up means together to cover myself until I come up with a new strategy.
  • Pros: When it worked it was simple to set-up and use.
  • Cons: Died this past weekend. I bought this on August 14, 2012, and less than two years after purchase it is a brick.   • Pros: kinda worked for a while
  • Cons: began dying after a year and change. Buffalo support was supremely unhelpful. Am filled with rage; will never buy Buffalo again. Sucker brand is for suckers; don't give them your money.
