Stopped working, tech support unhelpful

Summary: Purchased the LS-XH1.5TL new to provide robust backup for my small business. Installation is fairly quick and easy, if you follow the directions. After a couple of weeks of use, the device became unstable and was only recognized by my computer some of the time.
Summary: I bought this item for two things: a) A backup drive for important files b) A media server for my Xbox 360. I hate having my laptop on to serve up movies and music, and my Xbox hard drive is getting full. This seemed like a great way to alleviate the problem and at a decent price too.
Summary: So I purchased this because of the name Buffalo and am I sorry that I did. The web interface is the slowest around, and whatever you do DO NOT run a format on this drive (from within the web interface) without giving it 12+ hours to do the format.
Summary: All I wanted was media and document backup and storage that I could access remotely. The set up of this product is most cumbersome and I've spent a week so far working on getting this product to do what it's supposed to do.
Summary: This product has been nothing but trouble. Started off lovely then decided to give up working. Have spoken to buffalo and was told I needed to get an expert in computers in to help me! Updating the firmware is a nightmare and still unable to do it. DONT BUY THIS PRODUCT
