Summary: Since I switched from my old D-Link to the Time Capsule, every few days I have to unplug and plug it back in because my internet slows to a crawl. Very frustrating. I got this thing because I'm so over plugging in a portable hard drive into each of my Mac's to back them up.
Summary: My Airport Extreme just quit and the 2TB Time Capsule was on sale. My wife owns a Macbook Pro which supports the 802.11ac protocol and she noticed a definite improvement in response times. Also moved her Time Machine backup to this device and all is working well.
Summary: Great, but needs the sharing over want to work appropriately and the guest network was not working at all. If this two issues are solved then this will be a great network system. I am able to share files to my mac book pro and my wife's windows laptops, to my android phone and my wife's iPhone 6,...
Summary: Nice device and the fact that NAS is built right in makes for much faster backups and storage. Only tiny downside is that you must install an Apple application on each machine to access the storage. Very pleased
Excerpt: I bought this 3 to time capsule because I got a new MacBook and decided to replace the 2 tv time capsule. The new one has a tower design and ventilation on the bottom. It runs much cooler that my old one while taking up less space.
Summary: I am so impressed with this product. At first I was a bit skittish about the price, I really was. For our family home network, I had been using either a free (provided by AT&T) modem/wifi combo or relatively inexpensive DSL modem / router tandems.
Summary: This is perfect for those who are not tech savvy or too lazy to learn how to back up and do it regularly. It does all the work for you once you set it up. If you have people in your family or business who will inevitably destroy their computer this is nice. Just get a new computer, and restore.
Summary: I liked this Time Capsule 2TB with WiFi AC capability. Throughput was great. Be advised, however, do not purchase this if you're looking for a Network Accessible Storage (NAS) type of device. That's not what it's intended for.
