Summary: Great add on product to compatible Onkyo receivers. I put this on my NR-818 and synced with my phone, when I start up my music on my phone (android) the receiver auto switches to the USB input and starts playing, very nice to keep from having to hookup the phone to the system, I can even keep it in my pocket.
Pros: Nice to eliminate wires, easy setup and sync with phone.
Cons: I did find that if my signal dropped while watching a movie then it would switch over to the usb input when the signal came back, so it is kind of quarky in that sense and as another review mentioned may have to remove it when not streaming from other devices.
Summary: Overall I'm very happy with the UBT-1, it does what it was built to do. The only fault I found with the product is that if I leave the UBT-1 in my Onkyo TX-NR515 receiver after use, for some reason after awhile the UBT-1 turns my receiver back on and starts looking to pair with something.
Pros: The UBT-1 works great. Thinking of getting another one for myTX-NR616 in my living room. With the UBT-1 I can finally cancel my subscription to SiriusXM.
Cons: After awhile the UBT-1 turns on my receiver after about 5 minutes of being off.
Summary: Generally works fine with an Onkyo 717. Some issues, you need to disconnect after using it otherwise it will turn on the receiver and connect to devices paired with the receiver. Delayed sound in zone 2.
Pros: Easy to use and connect devices. Good sound quality especially in main zone.
Cons: Need to disconnect after using it. Delayed sound in zone 2
Summary: I can't leave the bluetooth in the Onkyo 818. If I leave it in, it wants to keep my other bluetooth for other devices tied up. I have to keep the bluetooth for the Onkyo out for my other devices to work....bad for me.......
