"Linksys is Best of All Towards Wireless Products"
14 August 2010
Pros: Since RangePlus, that must mean it has excellent Plusrange!!!! If it works better than Netgear's wg111v3 with its 2 foot 10 inch signal extender cable.I'll buy it to find out because Linksys is the BEST in home networking to finding Wifi Hotspots.!!!
Cons: Not informing us on how long extender cable is and does RangePlus work with Wireless G?
Excerpt: Then it just conked out on me and there was no way of getting it to work stably again on XP SP3. I don’t know why it works for a little while then stops working, but that’s what happened to me and that’s what I was told always happens by Linksys . Of course, if they would have told me that before recommending it to me, I never would have bought it! This wireless adapter gets a “2″ from me.
Cons: The packaging does not really tell you the max speed, which is actually less than comparable products. Sensitivity is even less than my laptop integrated b/g receiver. And this is from a "N" receiver. Software is useless. I had to uninstall it.
Summary: I use this adapter with my older laptop which is in a location remote to my wireless access point. Using this adapter, I have had no connection problems whatsoever. It was ridiculously easy to set up and seems to be very reliable. Great value for the price. I would recommend it to anyone.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Fast, Fast Connection Speed, Reliable connection
Summary: I haven't been a big fan of wireless technology. I always seem to have issues with setting it up and keeping it secure. Well not this one. It installed easily and it quickly connected me to our secured wireless router. It was soooo easy AND it works everytime I sign on that PC. I highly recommend this product if you want an easy way to connect an older desk top PC to your wireless router.
Summary: I baught it when my HP laptop with vista, and integrated wireless adapter burned out. I inserted the cd than plugged in the RangePlus and it started working. No hasstle, no nonsence. I am tinking of buying another one. Great price at B&H. The extension wire with stand is great for reducing any chance of breaking the adapter since it will not stick out the side of my laptop. Though you can plug the adapter directly into the usb.
Pros: Easy To Setup, Fast, Fast Connection Speed, Reliable connection, Secure Connection
"I have both a 802.11n router and this adapter..."

Pros: Pros are; -speeds Up to 270mbps -connects to Wireless-N, -G and -B networks -Supports WEP (64- and 128-bit), WPA and WPA2 (Personal and Enterprise) encryption security -Compatible with Microsoft Windows 2000 (SP4), XP (SP2 or later) and Vista
Cons: Havnt found much to complain about, except the software that comes with it. but I just simply uninstalled it and used windows wireless tools, they work more efficently.
