Summary: I installed the driver in 5 minutes or less and had the wirelss G card in the slot detecting available wireless networks. It converted the faint signal that my laptop's antennae would not & could not hold into an 89% signal. THIS particluar card is much better that the regular linksys card. This one with the MIMO technology is the bomb! I'm very happy with it. It beats getting a mobile broadband 2 year service agreement!
Summary: My husband was able to install this product and we are using it at our home. We do have some issues once in a while with how long it takes to connect but that is workable. We are thankful it works in our location and would recommend it to others.
Summary: I use this laptop card to connect to WIFI hotspots and it works better than my Netgear range-plus card. It gives a stronger signal and seems to work better at longer range. Definitely reccommends this card. Price is good too.
Summary: This Rangeplus wireless card was easy to install and ready to use in less than 5 minutes. The signal strenght is near 80 percent now. I would definitely recommend this pc card and Amazon for great service.
Summary: I'm using the WPC100 in an older Thinkpad with PCMCIA slots using Windows XP/SP3 . The card and driver was easy to install and works for a time. Each time I use it however, I get a "Blue Screen of Death" after about 30 minutes of use due to WPC100 conflict requiring a hard shutdown and reboot. This happens every time I use the device. I've tried searching for an updated driver but could not find any. I've also tried reinstalling the driver but that didn't help.
