  • Conclusion: I teach online classes and will be out of the country for a few weeks. Since I essentially need only internet and word processing, this fit the bill.
  • Pros: Light, fast and a great keyboard.
  • Cons: Hate the touchpad. Wish the little slip bag that came with it had room for power cord and mouse.

  • Conclusion: I would buy it again. It filled the niche between the desktop and a large laptop that was a pain on airplanes. The lack of optical drive is not an issue for me.
  • Pros: Size, weight, screen, keyboard, using XP, media card slot, battery life, price/shipping ($371 total,delivered in 2 days). Consumer Reports top pick in category.
  • Cons: Small touch pad, but I got used to it quickly. Slower than my desktop. Sound. Everyone wants to borrow it.

  • Conclusion: You will not be disappointed by this. It is my favorite computer ever! This will fully replace my normal laptop which was a core 2 duo latitude d630.
  • Pros: keyboard, brightness, battery life(6 hours), speed, wifi, bluetooth, doesn't overheat, light weight, solidly built, built in camera and mic, lots of hard drive space
  • Cons: only one slight weakness, it is only slightly choppy when playing video in full screen mode.
