Question: I cant play games like CSI, The Sims 2,3 and so on with my S10e

It keeps telling me, that I have something wrong with my graphics and that I should check out my hardware. It also says something about DirectX9.0c, I tried to download it, but I couldn't. It just dissapears somewhere, when installation ends. What can I do?
