The Gateway LT 2016u from Verizon Wireless is not a bad little netbook, it’s like most others out there so don’t expect anything really different from it. The main reason to get this netbook of course is for the built in access to the Verizon network, and that it does well, but your connection speeds will vary on many factors. Read more

The is now the second to be released through Verizon Wireless, after the earlier this year. Both have similar features and come with an internal Mobile Broadband data card that operates on Verizon’s EVDO Rev A network while in the US, as well as quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE and tri-band UMTS/HSPA while roaming. There is also a CAT 5 Ethernet port and Wi-Fi 802.11b/g for people who have access to a WLAN. Read more

I originally bought this for a 10.2" gateway netbook. I returned that netbook and instead got a 11.6" netbook from Acer (Acer 1410). I figured I would have to sell this or exchange since no way could a 11.6" netbook fit in a sleeve made for a 10.2" computer. Well I was wrong and then some. Actually the 11.6" Acer fits perfectly with some room to spare. I'm not sure how the smaller gateway would have fit even though the description says otherwise. Read more
