    Unit brand new out of the box would not boot up in windows 7. However, I will not judge Asus as yet until I talk with tech support to see if it is windows 7 as I know windows is plagued with innate problems! Read more

The ASUS Eee PC T91 is a 8.9-inch LED-backlit/Resistive Touch Panel display netbook that supports Genuine Windows® XP Home operating system and is powered by an Intel® Atom Z520 processor, 1GB (DDR2) memory with Intel® US15W chipset. The netbook supports onboard 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet controller, 802.11b/g/n WLAN wireless data networking, Bluetooth V2.1, 82 GB that includes a 16GB Solid State Drive, 16GB SD Card, 30GB Portable Hard Disk Drive and 20GB Eee Storage; a VGA port (D-sub 15-pin for external monitor), two USB2.0 ports, one LAN RJ-45, and two audio jacks (headphone/Mic-in). The Eee PC T91 also supports a 0.3M Pixel camera, a 3-in-1 (MMC/SD/SDHC) flash card slot, hi-definition audio CODEC, built-in high quality stereo speakers and a Digital Array Microphone. The T91 is powered by a Li-Polymer battery that provides up to 5-hours of usage time. The netbook measures 225mm x 164mm x 25.2~28.4mm and weighs 0.96kg. It comes with installation options for a GPS, TV Tuner and 3G plus (HSUPA).The Eee PC T91 comes in two color options, white or black, and with a stylus.

Features

The Eee PC™ T91 features software applications collectively known as TouchSuite, that allow users to touch up photos, create photo albums, leave handwritten desktop memos for loved ones, and sketch cartoons or custom emoticons. The Eee PC™ T91’s can be turned into a tablet PC, enabling users to read documents, scribble ideas into digital notebooks and surf the Internet while traveling on foot. The T91 also has options to be equipped with a TV tuner and Global Positioning System (GPS) and features FotoFun which allows users to flip through, organize and edit their photos via a customizable photo album interface and upload their edited pictures to photo-hosting websites; Memos that allows users to jot down handwritten notes which can then be ‘stuck’ on the desktop. Interactive memos can be sent across to other Eee PCs™; Touch Gate that enables users to switch between different user interfaces. Users can choose from XP Mode, which is the standard Windows XP interface with the addition of an application dock and Widget Mode which displays information via widgets;0 and Touch Mode, an interface featuring icons that allows users to launch programs with their fingers. The T91 also features IE Toolbar that enables users to zoom in and out of web pages by manipulating a slider with their fingers, 3G plus (HSUPA) technology for high-speed Internet access.
