Users can choose from the options of having up to 500 GB hard disk drive (160, 250 and 320 GB also supported) with 60 days unlimited Asus webstorage solution, a 0.3M Pixel camera, Hi-Definition Audio CODEC, stereo speakers, microphone, inputs and output such as one VGA Connector, three USB 2.0, one LAN RJ-45, two Audio Jack (Headphone / Mic-in), and a Card Reader for MMC and SD (SDHC) memory card. The Asus Eee PC 1015PE is powered by a 6-cell Li-ion battery that provides up to 13.5hrs of usage time.

The Asus Eee PC 1015PE is a netbook that is designed in a form factor with rounded curves and streamlined shape, and gives users access to movie or music files online, or surf the net to update a blog wherever they go. Supporting up to 13.5 hours battery life with Super Hybrid Engine, the netbook adapts and adjusts power settings to give users the CPU performance needed based on the user settings and the applications being run. Available in a variety of colors including Milky White, Silky Red, Midnight Blue, and Jazz Black, the netbook features a chiclet keyboard and a 10.1"LED backlit WSVGA screen (1024x600) display, Eee Docking platform that grants users access to digital content, services, and other software; allows users to stream or download a wide variety of digital contents such as ASUS @Vibe, Game Park, ASUS WebStorage and the ASUS AP Bank; let users share and keep all photos, music, videos, documents, bookmarks, and more in sync and up to date across all computers; E-Cam, Syncables and Xperience which features a host of applications that enhance the Eee PC’s audio visual performance; as well as tools such as Live update, Font resizer, LocaleMe and Docking setting.

  • Netbook for movies as well

    Dear Experts!! I'm a student in Europe and I need to buy a netbook but I truly need it to be as cheap as possible(around 350-450$) but of course not to be too limited...but rather comfortable and functioal...the 10.1 inch size screen its ok for me...and weight isnt an issue... I need it to be: - Working Battery 4 hours and more - to be able to play movies and sound smoothly and as well basic multimedia(not some super games) ,is it must be a super video card or smthing? -Keyboard comfortable enough for Ms office typing -Internet good wi-fi connection sensitivness Thank you very very much!!!!   • Asus netbook models

    Asus 1015PEB-RD601 was ranked top netbook by consumer reports. I can't find that model anywhere except Best Buy and I've been told not to buy there. Can anyone tell me the difference between the PEB, PEM, PED, PN...?
