The Asus Eee PC 1005HA is a notebook that runs Genuine Windows® XP Home operating system, and features a 10.1 inch LED Backlight WSVGA Screen (1024 x 600 pixel resolution) display. It is powered by an Intel® Atom™ N280/ N270 processor, 1GB DDR2 SO-DIMM memory, a 160GB hard disk drive and a 10 GB Eee Storage. Eee Storage service is complimentary for the first 18 months and requires registration for a 6 months extension (depend on country). The Asus Eee PC 1005HA also supports WLAN 802.11b/g/n @2.4GHz and Bluetooth® 2.1 + EDR connectivity. Other features includes a 1.3 megapixel camera, Hi-Definition Audio CODEC, stereo speaker and Digital Array Microphone. The notebook supports the following input and output: 1 x VGA Port (D-sub 15-pin for external monitor), 3 x USB 2.0, 1 x LAN RJ-45, 2 x Audio Jack (Head Phone / Mic-in) and a MMC/ SD(SDHC) card reader. It is powered by a 6 cell 63 Wh lithium ion battery that provide sup to 10.5 hours of usage time. The Asus Eee PC 1005HA measures 262 x 178 x 25.9 mm~ 36.5 mm and weighs 1.27Kg (with 6-Cell Battery). It comes in White, Black, Pink, or Blue Infusion technology color.

The Asus Eee PC 1005HA is a notebook that draws its inspiration from seashells and its opalescent and glossy exterior is crafted by in-Mold Roller technology. The unit features ASUS Super Hybrid Engine that conserves energy, providing users with a longer usafe time away from the outlet. It also supports 802.11n connectivity that lets users enjoy downloading and streaming of large multimedia files; and with a full range of applications. With built-in Bluetooth support, the Eee PC™ lets users transfer data between Bluetooth-enabled devices and connectivity where work, learn and play experiences are enhanced by applications that connect two or more users remotely. Other features on the Asus Eee PC 1005HA includes Multi-Touch gesture input feature, that lets users zoom in and out to view photos or read documents by just moving two fingertips apart or together on the touchpad. Users can also simultaneously slide two fingertips up or down the touchpad. The Hybrid Storage options allow users to choose between different ways to access to data storage on-the-go. Users have a built-in HDD of 160GB capacity which will allow makes them to be able to store over 30,000 MP3 songs or so. Users can also share them via the online Eee Storage which also offers up to 10GB of space. The unit is also compatible with Eee Docking: Intuitive Software Suite (XP only) for access to digital content, services, and useful software such as Eee @Vibe to stream or download a variety of exciting digital contents; Eee Sharing to share/sync messages and data with other Eee PCs, notebooks, or desktop PCs without entering into the Internet; Eee Xperience with applications that enhance visual and acoustic performance and Eee Tools which is a suite of tools including Live Update, Parental Control and Font Resizer.
