The Acer Aspire One D260 is a netbook that features up to 8 hours battery life, optimal performance, all-round connectivity and is built with a chrome-plated Aspire One logo on its cover. The palm rest and rear mirror strip designed with flake pattern as the front cover. The netbook comes in four color options – Black Flake, Purple Flake, Pink Flake and Charcoal Flake. It is an RoHS and WEEE compliant device as has less hazardous substances used in the production; single charge all-day power, Acer MiniGo adapter, LED backlit display and low power processor that conforms with Energy Star® requirements; minimized material consumption, modular construction and reduced packaging material guarantee efficient recyclability.

The Acer Aspire One D260 is powered by Intel® Atom™ N455/N450 processor, Mobile Intel® NM10 Express Chipset, up to 2 GB of DDR3 memory and is supported by Intel® Graphics Media Accelerator 3150, with 64 MB of dedicated system memory and Microsoft® DirectX® 9. It provides users with up to 8 hours of cable free power with a single charge and allows users to email, chat, blog or surf while on the go. It comes with the Acer MiniGo adapter with a wall mount design, and is 34% lighter than typical adapters, and saves 1/3 charging time. The netbook also comes with optional interchangeable AC converters. The Acer Aspire One D260 features a 10.1 inch Acer CrystalBrite™ WSVGA display with a 1024x600 pixel resolution and a 16:9 format, LED backlit and has 22.2% power savings properties; 93% standard-size keyboard with wider multi-gesture touchpad for scrolling documents, rotating images, zooming and browsing; Wi-Fi CERTIFIED™ technologies, Fast Ethernet or optional 3G, Bluetooth® 3.0+HS (optional), 250 GB hard disk drive, built-in multi-in-one card reader, Acer SignalUp™ antenna technology which provides enhanced transmission and reception, and Acer InviLink™ Nplify™ handles multiple large content files simultaneously. Other features on the netbook include built-in digital microphone and the Acer CrystalEye webcam which is optimized for low lit environments, and allows users to chat live, capture photos or video conference with friends and family; comes preloaded with Android OS along with Microsoft Windows 7.
