Summary: I am your average do-it-yourselfer. I try as many things as I can on my own. I purchased this nail gun to install chair rail in a room. It worked great! No problems with jamming. Fired first time every time. I immediately used it on my next project which was a set of shelves. Worked great here too. This was my first purchase of a nail gun and needless to say I knew nothing of these tools prior to my purchase. For the money this tool seems to be well worth it.
Summary: I am in the process of putting 3/4" oak floors in 4 rooms in my house. I began using a hammer and nail punch to counter sink finish nails on boards against the walls where the floor stapler won't fit. I saw a suggestion online about using a nail gun. Great idea. I had TWO other nails guns from a discount tool dealer (HF) but when I went to use them, neither would fire a nail. I looked at the reviews and decided on this Hitachi model and it works wonderfully.
Summary: This nailer is powerful and easy to use. I had a Bostich that failed and decided to try a different brand. The Hitachi is easier to un-jam should the need occur (it didn't). The depth adjustment is also easy to set.
Summary: I haven't had this product very long but it has performed just fine. i.e. drives the nails, sets them no muss no fuss. I like the air blower! was pleased to clean up my work area with quick blast of air.
I own two now, as the first has been "old faithful"!

Summary: These tools are amazingly resilient, and a huge help in a wide range of chores -- household-related and project-centered as well. Having 2 has enabled me to tackle and accomplish in a more timely fashion tasks that require different loads.
