Summary: I use a KORG GA-40 guitar/bass tuner for my acoustic guitars. This tuner works well with its built-in microphone, but seems to work even better (quicker) when I use it with this clip-on microphone. I find it a convenience, though not a necessity. Given the affordable price, I recommend it.
Summary: This is a high quality product at a very convenient price. Mine works like a charm. I have used it with a Guitar, a Ukulele and even with my daughters toy accordion. I am getting another one. Great product.
Summary: This contact microphone is quite helpful to me when I am trying to tune my section in the middle of a crowded orchestra room. It's also small and lightweight enough for me to keep it almost anywhere; hell, I'm sure I could even hide it in my pockets!
Summary: If there is one thing that is HIGHLY inconvenient with just a traditional electronic tuner, it's that they pick up any type of background noise and you have to be a certain distance from the tuner's pickup if you want to get a decent idea on where your tunings at.
Works Well, Attaches to Fiddle Bridge Without Getting Stuck

Summary: This clip works great for my fiddle. Some of the clip on tuners are so bulky that they will either not attach to the bridge, get stuck, or not open wide enough to attach to the scroll of my fiddle. I like that I can just plug this into my standard tuner, tune up fast, and hassle free.
