Summary: its cheap//it worx// what more to say? welp...only other thing to say is ashame that it doesnt have like a thin brass slip washer with one of those finned lock washers on the adjustment wingnuts and it'd be perfect!!! (nope...i still havent found those lil brass washers that size in my stash so im on the hunt :D blow-on bruthas n sistas! Doc P.
Summary: Unlike some other reviewers I have found no quality issues with mine, it came symmetrically bent with a plastic pad that doesn't smell like anything, it holds my harp exactly where it needs to be and is easy enough to remove, all I need to do is loosen the bottom wingnut, rotate the harp away from my mouth, and lift the frame over my head.
Summary: Surprisingly well made, for a Chinese import these days. Durable, shiny, and quite well worth the price. Works great and I have discovered a whole new world of "harp accompanyment" as opposed to "harpin' all bluesy-style." I love it and recommend it. Do note that it only fits 10 hole "blues harps" and does not fit any larger or chromatic style harps.
Summary: I loved this device so much that I now have four! I use each one for a separate key allowing me the opportunity to change keys quickly while performing. Before a performance and while my hands are free, I just load each harmonica of the desired key into it's own holder. In this method, each holder and harmonica combo now represents a different key, so as needed, I switch from one holder to another.
Summary: I bought the Hohner Neck harmonica Holder (10 Hole Size Only) for my 12 year old son. He never used another holder before, so he couldn't compare it with any other holders. He soon had the harmonica in the holder and the holder on himself and was playing the harmonica with his guitar. We have not had any trouble with it. It fits him well; he can also sing while wearing the harmonica holder.
Summary: I find this to be a strong, well made holder for the money. Sure, it may take a bit of doing to get your harp in the first couple of times, but the clamp holds it securely and in position; the wingnuts lock tight and hold the whole thing where you want it around your neck. It's comfortable to wear, even when bending notes on the harp.
Summary: I got this for my son..may keep it and send him one that's got a squared neck-piece, to stay put..as he's a quadraplegic and this might slip around too much. Hoping to exercise his core muscles while having a bit of fun, while he's at it. However, I think I'll like it, to learn while playing a little guitar, for myself. Very professionally made, sturdy product.
