Marine Band Key of C

Summary: Great instrument. Relatively easy to bend notes. Great tone. It's a little smaller front to back than my other harps (Special 20, Bluesmaster, Blues Harp MS), but I like it. Can't wait for my Key of D and Bb to come in! Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a new harp.
Summary: I saw this harmonica and had to click on it. I had never seen a new Hohner of this exact breed (Marine Band)! You see, mine is over one hundred years old. About 15 years ago, my Grandmother gave me my Great-Grandfather's harmonica (along with a story!).
Summary: I just got the item today. First, it came very well packaged, and it came one day earlier that was expected. Thanks Amazon! Now, to the actual instrument. There was no damage to the item package and it looked to be in good working condition.
Summary: I am pleased wtih the product and it's quality. However, it took more than a reasonable amount of time to receive it from the distributor. I will assume that this was the exception rather than the rule. Otherwise, I am very satisfied. Thank You. AFL
Summary: Learned to play on one of these about 30 years ago. Durable, easy to play and fantastic sound! I later bought other, more sophisticated harmonicas but my Marine Band will always be my favorite!
Summary: My Marine Band arrived yesterday with a very disappointing flaw. The 1 blow reed was defective because it vibrates against a burr on the reed plate. I opened it up and tried to fix it myself to no avail. This morning I called Hohner.
Summary: I've been playing harmonica in bands for 15 years, and nothing has ever come close to the Hohner Marine Band in terms of overall sound, volume, responsiveness, durability, and overall buyer value. There may be a few high-end harps out there (like Seydel etc.
Summary: I've been trying out lots of different harmonicas recently, so I've gotten the chance to really compare and contrast different models. Despite my preconceived notions about Marine Bands, I've found that I really like them.

Summary: I got this to replace my Hohner Golden Melody Harmonica, Key of C harp. Right out of the box it sounds richer, even though I've adjusted the reeds on my G. M. I was really surprised at how much better this harp sounds.
