Annoying 2-sided printing and wasteful banner page difficult to disable

Anonymous, office.xerox.com
11 September 2013
  • Summary: We recently got this machine in our office and it is set up to default to for 2-sided printing, which is "green" but not what we need for many of our projects. Trying to figure out how to disable it took a long time and we still can't default it for 1- sided printing. Also the machine defaults to printing a "banner page" on every job. For a printer that bills itself as "green", this is an incredible waste of paper and again, not easy to switch off.

  • Summary: Easy to use, quality, you have to run things a little darker. Like having the two sided and staple features.

Good small business printer

  • Summary: We had a Workcentre M20 which I loved. It was fast and handled big jobs well. We wanted to get a slightly better machine -- and to be honest this machine cost a little more than I wanted, but we decided to go for it.

Great Networking Multi-function Printer 4260X w/FAX added.

Elder Curtis, office.xerox.com

  • Summary: After nearly six months of frequent operation, we are very satisfied with this printer/FAX/copier/scanner/et cetera XEROX 4260. Being able to copy a document to USB and attached the PDF created has been a welcome addition to our office capability. The "X" model came without FAX capability, so we added the optional module, which plugged right in to the breakout panel. My only reason for four stars was the challenge of getting the system set up.

  • Summary: the 4260 is a great little multifunctional copier/printer. my office loves it. it's warm up time in the morning is a little slow for my taste, but once it gets going its faster than our workcentre7545.

Feeding Jams from the start...

LincNebr, office.xerox.com
29 December 2012
  • Summary: The company I work for got this machine to replace the one I already had that was working fine for me. (lease) It was to make copies of paperwork that was some 23 pages long. 1st copy, no problem. The 2nd one I put in jammed on the second page. Upon clearing it out and starting again this time the first page jammed. And unlike my old copier that might jam from time to time, this copier would make the jammed pages into accordion pages.
