  • Summary: Purchased it, since the first week it has had issues, been serviced numerous times. Had scanner parts changed then the scanner completely replaced.and it was about 1 month old. It still continues to have issues almost daily and is extremely slow to print and at times we can't even get it to print,,Xerox is coming again tomorrow to fix another problem and we have only had it 4 months.

  • Excerpt: Our machine was installed with no instructions on how to use it. Will not print when coping a 1/2 sheet of paper, keeps sending "Original size not detected" message. Xerox installed new software for this problem, worked for 1 week,now it's back to not coping small notes. No notification of update needed from Xerox. Have to call several people and fight to get a technician in to look at it. Overall poor service.

Problems with Scanning, Strange Ink Cubes, Poor Printing on Cardstock

  • Excerpt: We purchased this to replace a less expensive HP printer. The solid ink technology is certainly interesting, but at least on this printer it was problematic. We used it for printing color charts on thick cardstock. The "ink" peeled off or scraped of like wax. The scanner stopped working frequently, and it wasted quite a bit of ink every time the machine turned on. I don't think that solid ink technology works well, or at least not on this machine.

  • Excerpt: machine is NOT so green as promised need to keep it on all the time,major power consumption,noisey,jams,quality comes and go.error codes, calling tech support is terrible..

Fortunately we only replaced one of the C2424s with a ColorQube - it has broken down 4 times in 3 months - and we have formally rejected it as not of merchantable quality. Avoid like you would avoid the plague!!!
