Summary: This printer gets the job done. It's a no non-sense printer. The full duplex printing is good. The print quality looks fine. The scanner works fine if you don't plan to use it often. It was a little bit frustrating figuring out how the scan to network performed. You need to install the Easy Printer Manager and keep it running in Windows. The printer needs to see that software listening from a PC on the network before it would show an option to scan to PC.
Excerpt: Our use case is scanning packing lists/delivery receipts to email to notify managers of deliveries in a timely manner. They then mark up the PDF scans and print as needed back to the warehouse. The scanning ADF works reasonably well with folded and spindled, if not mutilated, documents. The print quality took some tweaking to get it darker, the eco-mode is a no-go. In a rough environment it is still running fine.
Excerpt: Decent features, we like the all-in-one for our small office. Not easy to access them though - speed dialing is not one touch (that we had in our old Canon) so it seems like entering the number every time is quicker than speed dialing. Scanning works well, easy to use. Copying & faxing are slow, with added step of "updating data" when done (message that flashes on when job complete - can't do anything until it's completed).
Excerpt: WE HAVE FOUND THAT THIS IS NOT A USER FRIENDLY MACHINE. WE DO NOT HAVE TIME TO STAND AND HAVE TO TRY AND FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO SOMEHTING SO SIMPLE AND IT TAKES 20 PLUS MINUTES TO FIGURE IT OUT OR JUST LET IT GO AND DO IT SOME OTHER WAY.
Excerpt: We got this machine a couple of months ago. Our Secretary said it was too complicated and she couldn't figure it out and could only use it as a standard copy machine. About a month later, we got a new secretary and then it did everything it said it would on the box. New secretary said setup was easy and quick, using discs and instructions that came with it in the box.
Excerpt: I purchased a 3325 as a replacement to a 3300MFP and was please to find that several issues I had with the Phaser 3300MFP had been resolved. As I write this review we have been using the 3325 for 2 months and have been very pleased with its performance. The interface is different from the 3300MFP but it wasn't hard to figure out how to navigate the scan to e-mail, fax, and copy features. While I have seen easier interfaces it isn't bad enough to loose a star.
Excerpt: Very disappointed with this machine. Constantly jamming and only had it a week. It bends the corners when printing more than one sheet. Scanning only allows for a certain number of pages before going to a second job. The main drawer is low capacity and will fall on the floor if not careful as it slides clear out of the machine.
