Summary: I got this printer to replace a 3220 that had failed after many years of service. This new unit dims the lights in my entire office when in use. Please read up on any printer you get and question the watts and amp draw on any unit. the 3220 only used 450 amps and the new 3315 uses 600Watts.
A good low Budget compromise for a networked small office.

Summary: I bought this machine to serve as a Copier/Printer/Fax for a Front Desk position in an office. It's not the Best..but if you're budget conscious, it can fill a low cost niche. As a rule, I regard Multi-Function machines to be 'Master-of-None' compromises to be avoided.
Summary: Great scanner but drinks up toner. Not as efficient a printer as portrayed but it scans very well and is reliable as a fax. The case is not as well made as its predecessor....feels more flimsy. Very good scanner and fax; expensive printer to use.
Summary: Do not buy this unit, after 16 months of only occasional use the scanner mechanism failed. That is the light that goes across the glass to read the document to scan or copy. Xerox wanted a minimum fee of $371 to look at it. I paid less than that for it new.
Summary: This printer gets the job done. It's a no non-sense printer. The full duplex printing is good. The print quality looks fine. The scanner works fine if you don't plan to use it often. It was a little bit frustrating figuring out how the scan to network performed.
