Summary: Bought this for my father. Bad manual. Installation materials didn't mention Styrofoam shipping spacers lodged deep in the machine. Control panel is too small to read. A little flimsy, cheap plastic. No paper manual. Jury's still out.
Summary: Very easy set up EXCEPT the wireless. I was not able to utilize the included disk to connect the wireless feature. I can still use it with the USB cable but, really, this was one of the main features! Great price for this item.
Small and compact but network software is very flaky

Summary: I like the physical compactness but I have had to repeatedly re-install the network connection software. Somehow it keeps going out of sync. The user documentation is basically useless as it does not address network connectivity issues at all. I have still not been able to reliably get two computers working with the printer -- it seems to work with one at a time but on installation of the second computer - there are problems with the first one losing printer access even...
buy an additional cartridge now, so you dont get screwed later.

Summary: Great unit, but the software stinks to use....... I use it wireless and it works fine for my needs of printing with occasional scanning. Replacement cartridge is not cheap when in a pinch and shopping local, so I advise yo to also purchase a replacement cartridge now so so you don't get pissed later. I would consider buying again..... really came down to price, reviews, and features..... it was the winner at the time of purchase.
Summary: (would have given 1-1.5 more stars if not for the toner issue-don't like companys that prevent you from buying aftermarket toner) PROS * great price $120 *paper tray is just an open space in front so it is very easy to add paper (without removing a tray) and to add manual paper-YOU JUST PUT THE PAPER/labels IN AND THAT'S IT--GREAT DESIGN--for home/small business. *small profile and not to high *quick wake up-quick response and ppm.
Summary: I read the reviews and did a lot of web research so I was aware of configuration issues. If you aren't technically minded you probably should buy something else. I run all Linux and setting it up on CUPS with USB connection was simple with the SULDR drivers from bchemnet though wireless was not possible.
Pros: Small, cheap multi-function printer.
Cons: Very hard to configure and impossible to use WiFi without firmware upgrade, which is not available on the Samsung web site. Toner was already down to 70% and a new one will cost as much as the machine. Are you feeling lucky?
Summary: This is a good printer when it is working and connected. I thought this was a good printer value for the price but once I got it home I realized it was not very user friendly. I bought this printer to replace my 2yr old Lexmark inkjet wifi printer that stopped staying connected to our laptops as well. The Lexmark 3200 inkjet all in one I had was easy to do PDF scans.
Summary: Overall, the printer worked as advertised. It was, contrary to many reviews, quite easy to install and setup the wi-fi access to assorted paraphernalia (macbook air, old samsung tablet 10.1, smartphone). However, as far as speed requirements over wifi, it's a bit lacking. From the PC, connected via usb 2.0, the printer does as advertised. From the macbook air using wifi to print, while it was a bit slower, it came very close to matching the "wired" PC.
Summary: Aside from the DHCP and firmware issues this printer is a very good printer. Until I finally found a link explaining the solution to the DHCP issue I was ready to pitch the printer and buy another brand.
Pros: I think that this is an excellent laser printer for the price. I purchased two of these and have been extremely satisfied with them once I figured out how to correct the issue listed in the cons section below.
Cons: If you set up the printer using the default values the printer will assign DHCP as the default IP address selection. If you have the printer set up this way then it will work fine until the printer goes to sleep. Then if you try to print to the printer it will stay offline and your request will stack up in queue until you power cycle the printer. If you want to use the printer as a wireless printer then you HAVE TO set up the default IP address selection method to man...
