Summary: I got this printer because it has wireless capability and supose to be suporting both Mac Os and windows platforrns. I was able to get it work with my windows pc the print quality is prety good. . Unfortunately, I was never able to get it set up yo work on my Imac both wire and wireless. I spent so much times to get support from Samsung tech support adSamsung support website. I never seen such a dismal support facility. I try to find solution on the internet.
Summary: Great printer when it's working but I wouldn't buy another without an extended warranty.
Pros: Relatively easy to setup. Prints great.
Cons: Many photo interrupters, any of which can and do fail just slightly after the 1 year warranty expires. Going to trash a printer after less than 500 pages of printing because of a $4 part. Look online and see how many people had the same problem.
Summary: Have several other samsung devices, including TV, BluRay, previous printer for years which was great, so figured I would get another Samsung printer and went with this model thinking in today's wireless world, it would make printing easier. It does not. The WiFi feature has never worked properly, so I connected to my wireless router (Linksys first, then Apple Time Capsule) and that at least allows network printing, but the printer spontaneously disappears from each...
Summary: If you buy this one, you need to know more about the setup your network. Samsung sell this to consumer but don't get this straight how to setup the wireless. Other than that, this machine is a goooooooood item. I would prefer to buy the non-wireless to better off the headache.
Summary: My dad bought this printer for me. It worked great for 6 weeks... then it broke. This light came on. We thought it needed toner. Seventy dollars later... the light is still on and it won't print. We called Samsung and got great customer service--- it is under warranty and they are fixing it. I can't complain about that! However, it is a huge inconvenience.
Great Printer if you don't use its prime feature--"Wireless."

Summary: I received this printer about three weeks ago. It was very easy to setup using a network connection. And once I "locked down" the IP Address my computers could always find it on the network. Great prints, very quiet and virtually silent in sleep mode. But in "wireless" mode, the printer kept disappearing. I set it up on the network cable three times each using conventional and "ad hoc" architectures, and each time it would work for a while then stop.
Did not print cleanly. Wireless config did not work.

Summary: I could not get the wireless to work with my router. So this is not a great wireless printer. Even the wired connection had some trouble. The biggest reason I gave 2 stars is that the printer just doesn't print properly. The right side of the page is missing the printed text on about a fifth of the width of the page. The printed text is too light. This is probably a refurbished printer that was sold as a new one. I have asked for a replacement and [...
