Summary: Dont buy this piece of .... If you want a printer thats reliable then avoid this, unless you want one that reliably jams... it works ok for 3 or 4 sheets but anything more and it will jam! And the manual duplex is a joke....it shuffles the papers and take them in any random order so the page numbers get all mixed up! The worst bit of office / IT kit I have ever bought! AVOID!!!!
Summary: This printer fits a purpose: - A printer that is used constantly 24/7 but only printing one or two pages at a time. - It is sited in an industrial location and needs to be reasonably robust. - It needs to be quick and simple to install. We used to use HP Laserjets but this Samsung is about a third of the price of an HP to do the same job and has proven to be more reliable than our existing HP printers.
Summary: Stuff came in Box 1. Printer itself. 2. British power cable. 3. EU Power Cable. 4. Driver CD. 5. One page start guide. 6. Original Samsumg 700 pages toner. *** Please note there was no USB Printer cable so you have to buy separately. I bought this one so you can try USB 2.0 A - B HP Canon Epson Printer Lead 3m New Cable Details 1. It is a mono printer so just print black and white. 2.
Summary: Arrived very quickly but I had to wait 4 days for the USB lead to arrive separately. It takes up very little space on my desk. Very very easy to set up and prints well and quickly obviously only in black and white.I ordered a spare ink "cartridge" which was as expensive as the printer but apparently is sufficient for 1500 pages.
Summary: This printer is the more advanced model of the Ml16xx. It's faster with almost a minimum of 15ppm practically and the quality is nothing short of excellent. The design involves the paper tray not sticking out which is a very good thing so that no dust accumulates. The tomer options are also good, available in 2 variants with a minimum of 1000 page output. The cost per page works out to under 3p. This printer was found cheapest on Amazon with a proper full warranty.
Summary: I already have an inkjet to produce colour photos, so I was looking primarily for a mono laser that would deliver clear, crisp text. I spent ages on the internet seeing what was on offer before buying the ML-1915 and it is has not disappointed. It looks stylish, produces immaculate text and it comes with the Anyweb facility which enables clips from any websites visited to be pasted on to a clipboard for printing out in a variety of formats.
Summary: + Cheapest laser printer I could find + Fast + Well implemented manual duplex printing; a message pops up showing you how to reorientate the pages into the feeder tray, and then you just press the button on the printer to resume printing. + Quite compact + Toner save feature - Included toner cartridge is pathetic; I print powerpoint handouts of lecture notes and it has barely lasted 3 weeks since buying it, now I need to buy a £50 toner.
Summary: 1) Time: 20:30 2) Unpacked printer 3) Removed all security tapes 4) Plugged in USB cable (separately ordered) 5) Plugged in power cable 6) Turned on printer 7) Windows automagically found the correct drivers even though I didn't even bother using the installation disc! 8) Printed a test page and found everything in working order 9) Time 20:40 10) Great Success!!!
