Excerpt: I purchased this printer online after returning an in-stock Brother model with similar features. I was looking for the following features: (1) color; (2) laser or LED; (3) all-in-one; (4) wireless; and (5) auto duplexing. I had been waiting for Brother to offer their LED with those features and tried it simply because the last laser I owned was loud and used a lot of power, so I was hoping the LED might not share those same attributes.
Pros: Easy to Use, Quality, Easy to Set Up, Performance
This printer is garbage! I had two of them, and both failed after a very short time

Summary: I purchased this printer for my home office. From day 1, it had problems with poor image quality (thick red streaks on the side of every printed page) and exploding toner cartridges. Samsung sent a repair person TWICE to try to fix it. After the second failed repair attempt, we asked Amazon to replace the printer and they did (thanks, Amazon!).
Summary: We bought this in February 2013 and right from the start it had problems with doing more than one thing at once. So, if you sent something to print and then a fax started coming in, the machine shut down. By November it stopped faxing all together and was sent back to Samsung for repair. They kept it for 6 weeks and then, since they couldn't fix it and it was under warranty, they sent me a new one (but no new warranty).
Summary: **Update - I have had this printer for 1.5 months, and it randomly loses connectivity to my PC. I don't realize I have the problem until I go to print, and the print job just sits in the queue. I then have to clear the queue and then I have to act like I am scanning a document, forcing the printer to make a connection to my PC, for the PC to realize the printer is actually out there and print to it. 15 days past the point of being able to return this piece of junk...
Summary: We used this as a loaner for our Brother 9970cdw while it was in for repair. This Samsung printer has been nothing but major frustration! It is VERY slow compared to our Brother. Slow to print, slow to email scans, slow, slow, slow. There is no distinctive ring feature for fax (although the specs say there is, tech support finally figured out there is not) Tech support won't help you with this model because it is a business class machine so you can only call between...
Summary: Very good printer, the only thing is you can not scan documents directly to MAC. Kind of frustrating considering I work with a macbook, I have to scan things to a flash drive and then save it to my computer. Otherwise, the printer is great.
Summary: Does everything well - copy, fax, scan, duplex printing at a great price. Great color copies out of the box. Nice duplex copy/scan. Perfect for a small office. Sets up easily. Had it running in 15 minutes after it arrived. One of the better features is the ability to scan a very clear, color document to a network computer file. Forget the "email a scanned copy" feature as "scan to computer" works so nice in our small office.
