Summary: Like all Samsung printer (it's the second I have), its WIFI just doesn't work unless it's locate right next to the router (which makes the WIFI functionality useless...) Stopped working after a couple of months, it needed 2 month to get it back and they crashed it. So they gave me a new one but with half-empty toners (mine were almost new...) for a 500 USD printer, I expect more.
Summary: I have never given anything on Amazon a 1 star review, but if i could give this - stars, I would. Had an HP that worked excellent for about 5 years in my office. Our IT person said it was time to put it to rest (although it still worked fairly well) and we were pointed in the direction of this machine. Out of the box, the machine didn't work. It wouldn't network, wouldn't scan as a .pdf and wouldn't copy.
Summary: I bought it from another site. The printer works great. But beware of power spikes. Every minute or so it draws about 7 amps of current for a couple of seconds (around 800 - 850 Watts). Other than that it's running at only 10 Watts. I'm pretty sure all laser printers do this but 7 amps is kind of high. So if your lights flicker once every minute now you know why. This is why I gave 4 starts instead of 5.
Summary: This is by far the worst printer I have ever used. Don't waste your time, money or effort on this printer. I have had more difficulty with this model than any other printer I have ever used. It is not ready for real world use at all. First, it jams constantly. Paper choice does not matter. It jams equally with bargain paper or with quality paper. Jams are very tedious to clear and very time consuming.
Summary: I bought this printer (CLX-4195 color laser multifunction) because of good reviews on Amazon. I had a number of bad experiences and would not recommend it. Most importantly, after the initial setup the print quality was very poor (almost unreadable with blurred and blank sections). I spent a frustrating week with online support, the manual, chat and live telephone discussion. No one could help. I was told to return the printer to the repair center.
Summary: It freezes up and I have had so much trouble with this machine....Samsung will fix it but you have to spend 3 days getting them to do it and jump through hoops on calls and call backs. My time is too valuable for this. I bought a Brother instead and it works like a breeze. I even had help from my IT guy and the wireless option is a joke to set up....JOKE.
