Pros: Great printer for a great price, especially when compared to InkJet alternatives; bought it during "Black Friday" craze of 2011.
Cons: If you have Windows, the various Software/Driver options offered from Samsung will make you a happy customer; However, anything else, especially Linux users, stay away from Samsung. While they do offer some version of binary drivers, they are outdated, old, and poorly written code. Ultimately, th...

Summary: This is an odd printer, prints fine after a delay but the scanner works 10% of the time, I have to reboot the computer and take my chances, I've contacted Samsung, got the latest driver and it still will not work.
Summary: Not a bad printer, but it is extremely slow. It took a minute from the moment I pushed print till it actually started printing. I've owned it now for about a year or a little longer and I have to replace the fuser and transfer belts on it. The scanner is nice, but it doesn't duplex.
Summary: I bought this in Oct-11 and it came with a nice little ding in the rear near the power supply. It looked superficial, and did make opening the rear door a little cumbersome. Looking back, I should have sent it right back. But, as most of us know… a new toy can mean reason goes out the window.
Pros: Quiet, decent print quality, easy to access toner.
Cons: Dumb LCD interface. Driver system not well thought out either. Using Universal Driver instead.
Summary: I literally had my Canon printer hooked to my wireless router for two years without a single problem, but no go for this Sam-Suck printer, it won't even stay connected for a day!
Pros: Update To First Review - A day later... I have to drop one egg for the wireless issue listed below. As I said in my first review, a decent printer for the price.
Cons: Loses the wireless connection. This is not acceptable as far as I'm concerned, because it's one of the top reasons that I bought this thing. So if you add up the extreme power spike during warm up, the slowness while waiting for the first page to print, the unbearable stink of the burning toner s...
Summary: I installed this printer easy enough, but after a beautiful test print, it would not print any color files. My first print was smeared (maybe it didn't like photo paper?) but upon printing 20# printer paper, it jammed. The worst part is, I couldn't clear the jam.
Summary: I have learned a good lesson on printers and will do better research when buying the next one. Shame on you samsung!
Pros: size footprint for multifunction
Cons: If you plan on using oem toner, Samsung updates their firmware so you must use only their toner. This is the first laser I've used that forces us to buy only their brand of toner. Forget the initial price if there gonna gouge you for the life of the printer...
