Bought a new and used

Marvis Blye, Amazon
5 May 2014
  • Summary: Bought a new one in 2012 and maybe used 30 times before paper and ink stuck to the fuser. Fuser was more than a used one so I bought a used machine and the drum on it was scratched. Luckily the drum on the old machine was fine so I changed it out. Now I am having problems with the driver or software, not sure which. Don't buy Samsung Printers.

Don't buy this printer

Ralph N., Amazon
13 February 2014
  • Summary: This could be one of the worst printers i have ever owned. At first glance, it's great, or it seems. Looks good, color laser and a scanner, what could be wrong?? This is a printer designed for people who print 1 or 2 pages a week at most. I never print in color and yet i have to replace color toners regularly, ridiculously regularly. This printer always needs some sort of attention. If you're looking for something you can set up and forget about, this is NOT it.

Samsung laser printer etc.

Judy, Amazon
7 January 2014
  • Summary: This printer gives good quality printing. I was not expecting the toner to run out as often as it does. It is expensive to print color copies. The black and white is better. Cheaper paper sometimes gets jammed easily, especially when doing double sided prints. It is fairly easy to unjam it. It is slow to run large quantities and is probably better for small tasks.

Lousy print quality

Gary M. Ohara "GO", Amazon
4 December 2013
  • Summary: The print quality stinks. Read the box because this one was mixed with Ethernet compatible and I didn't realize it until I got it home and opened. My fault. The store naturally wouldn't take it back after opened...ugh! Again my bad. Then a print server would not stay working on this but instead I had to reboot the print server everytime I wanted to print after delaying awhile. basically, I really dislike this machine.

Samsung Printer DO NOT BUY

cabodoggie, Amazon
10 November 2013
  • Summary: This is the worst color printer you can buy, the toner is very expensive and the amount of tone used is based on number of pages printed and not the amount toner used. DO NOT BUY THIS PRINTER!!!

Extremely Slow...

Andy, Amazon
23 September 2013
  • Summary: Not a bad printer, but it is extremely slow. It took a minute from the moment I pushed print till it actually started printing. I've owned it now for about a year or a little longer and I have to replace the fuser and transfer belts on it. The scanner is nice, but it doesn't duplex. Buy something else at this price point and get something better.

Very Expensive to maintain, cost per page is prohibitive

Alfred Naranjo C., Amazon
28 August 2013
  • Summary: I mostly use this printer at home, I'm very dissapointed from it, cost for supplies is very high and print quality is not what I expected for a laser printer. I like samsung products and that is one of the reasons i decided to buy this printer, guess what, they have bad products like this too. Want to save some money and headaches.? Buy another printer.
