Summary: if you are looking for a well built quality printer, keep looking. this printer started having problems at one year, and quit working all together at 1 1/2 years. SAMSUNG is at the top of my do not buy list!
Disappointed, didn't last 3 years - will avoid Samsung printer products in the future

Summary: Not much to say except that now this printer is failing miserably, lots of jams, random crashes and the software hangs up my PC's. The top part has broken so I have to carefully prop it up when I try to copy or scan, and I'm really the only person who uses this machine.
Summary: when it's working, it works ok. I've used just under 3 years, I think I've shaken the toner catridge over 300 times. It always displays a message for low toner even after I replaced it with a brand new one. Now, it's completely broken. Belt transfer got broken and makes a lot of weird noise.
Summary: I spent a good deal of time researching multifunction devices for my home office. This product always ended up at the top of the list. Having always had a good experience with Samsung electronics I purchased this printer and it worked pretty well for a couple of months.
Pros: Lots of features, good print quality.
Cons: Paper jam issues. High cost of repair. Few service centers. Terrible on-line support. Short manufacturer's warranty.
Summary: I purchased this printer for out office. I've had to replace all of the major components at least once. I received broken replacement parts from Samsung and had to create 1 good part from several broken ones. I wasted many hours keeping this printer running.
Pros: nice features decent operating costs
Cons: poor quality spent too much time maintaining this printer poor technical support
Summary: I HATE this printer. We have had nothing but problems since day one. The very first day we hooked it up, the transfer unit/belt was bad. We would have to wait days for a new one (never been used before) so we opted to exchange the printer. We chalked it up to poor shipping methods.

Summary: I did a lot of research on laser printers but obviously not enough. We have an HP designjet and the printer drivers from the Designjet and the Samsung conflict. There is a note on the Samsung website that indicates that this conflict might exist but I didn't find it during my research (and their...
Summary: We bought two of these machines in late 2007. Initially, they performed fairly well, although the color rendition has never been great. One machine is in a small retail store ad one is located in a home office. One is connected via USB, the other via LAN.
Summary: This is a home office printer. The features are fantastic, the initial print quality very good, and the setup was a breeze. I can scan directly to .pdf files on my laptop from the autofeeder. I have never had a paper jam. However, it does eat toner.
